Description
It’s a well accepted fact that tube amplifiers tend to sound their best when they are turned up and working hard. Along with that is the knowledge that mothers, fathers, children, and soundmen were likely to complain about the volume levels of these great sounding amps. The Power Broker allows a guitar player to turn up the amp and make the tubes work hard while keeping the overall volume down to more socially acceptable levels. This is accomplished by splitting the power signal between a series of load resistors and the amplifier speaker. The natural sound and behavior of the amplifier is transmitted into the speaker at a reduced level while the balance of the signal is absorbed by the resistor network.
