About rj — I have been studying and building Wreck style amps for over 12 years and have dedicated this web site to helping diy amp builders understand and build amps based on the classic circuits of Wreck style amplifiers. Through the years I have identified and collected a really good stash of NOS Wreck parts. As I have become familiar with the original parts used in each of the Wreck amps, I have identified an equivalent or in some cases better part for every component in a Wreck amplifier. The rest of the magic is dependent upon the actual amp builder.

In addition to helping folks put together their own traditional diy Wreck amp, I have also pioneered modernized iterations of each of the Wreck amps and will be adding documentation and parts packages for these hybrid amplifier designs. The end objective is not to help diy builders simply reproduce someone else’s work but rather teach them the fundamentals essential to design and build their own circuit designs. I am greatly appreciative of all the help I’ve been given through these past years by Wreck Savvy gurus and I’m pleased to pass it all to all.
