This amp was one of my favorites. I took a Roadster amp, which is much like a Wreck Rocket, which is basically the top boost channel from a Vox AC-30. I’ve modified the circuit by adding reverb then flipped the whole thing upside down to create a small combo amp. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I did all this to create a great gigging amp for a friend that was working to get established in Nashville. James Carothers was a local kid that played in a band with one of my kids and has since moved on to create a name for himself in music city. I built this amp for him and it has seen a lot of venues and traveled a lot of miles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
